Today's world presents many challenges in ministry. Bruce and Bonnie Robinson devote their experience, conviction and energy alongside national church planters and missionaries, particularly in Eastern Europe, to help the indigenous church fulfill its call and expand its effort. The Robinsons pray that this will contribute to a longer-term witness in a spiritually challenged world.
Statement of Faith
ACTSent believes...
The Bible is the infallible Word of God; that it is His holy and inspired Word, and that it is the only, supreme and final authority for life
In one God, eternally existing in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
That Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, led a sinless life, took on Himself all our sins, died and rose again, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father as our mediator and advocate
That Jesus rose bodily from the dead, physically ascended into heaven and is returning bodily and immanently to this earth
That the Holy Spirit convinces mankind of sin, draws him to Christ as the only Lord and Savior, and guides the Christian in his daily life
That all men everywhere are alienated from God in their sinful nature, face the judgment of God and need to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ by repentance from sin and faith in His shed blood on the cross
That Christians should profess their faith in Christ by immersion and dedicate themselves to the service of our Lord and to His authority over their lives
That Christians should join a Bible believing church for fellowship, discipline and mission
That it is the responsibility of Christians, in general, and local churches, in particular, to spread the Gospel and disciple a new generation of believers
In using every ethical and legitimate means to communicate the Gospel of Jesus Christ worldwide and apply it relative to specific cultures
That Christians must have concern for the hurts and social needs of fellowmen as well as the salvation of souls
